The new mac book air 11.6 inches starts at a good price of $899 from $999 previously and while in Uk with a £849 from £949.IF you are owing a old version of Mac book air you wont really need to upgrade but the price cut off is a nice chance for mid budget shoppers to buy it.It is really a Big news because the price rarely drops.

Running a little longer

The New Mac book air adds a more 90 minutes to the newer version which makes it the best choice to buy.

Still yet the Air's are the best feeling laptops.11-inch Air is small and narrower, making four-finger gestures feel cramped. The backlit keyboard is the same size and feel as on the 13-inch Air, and still feels great, although the row of function keys are pretty shrunken downThe Air does not fell as slim through the Sony Vaio Pro 11.But the weight of all Air aluminum design of 2.3 pounds because of its aluminum desingn it feels good to hold it but now it is now no anymore interesting.

Performance

What do you think new here?There is a little bit improvement in the new model with a 1.4Ghz Intel Core i5 CPU processor the previous model was with a 1.3Ghz.The processor change is a small move forward in terms of performance. That's good, because the 2013 Air went with a lower clock speed and some slightly slower benchmark scores compared with the CPU in a 2012 Air.The Intel HD 5000 graphics in the Airs are a touch better than the ultrabook average. There aren't as many great Mac games for benchmarking as there are on Windows,The Air could play casual games more good but it is not a Gaming laptop.

Battery

The 11 inch Air could last for 12 hours and 3 minutes in video playback battery-drain test, which was about 90 minutes is longer than the 2013 version of the Mac book air.The 13-inch Air has an even better battery with a 16 hours of Video playback, but I'd argue that anytime you cross over 8 hours you're in a territory that's all gravy afterward. You're looking at a laptop that can get through a full workday.

Display

The 1,366x768-pixel-resolution display is Good but not the best because now there are many higher resolution laptops the Vaio Pro 11 has 1,920x1,080-pixel resolution, and the 12.5-inch Surface Pro 3 has a 2,160x1,440-pixel display.Blade's display to new extremes with a staggeringly high-resolution 3200x1800 touchscreen display — the highest pixel count for any 14" laptop on the market, it claims.

Conclusion

The 2014 MacBook Air, like the largely similar 2013 version, is all about battery life and portability.This Laptop is nearly the size of an ipad an also lasts long like it.People could buy a Ipad with a instead of it now the Apple offers his two products in 11 inch category.In the i would say that there maybe a difference in iMac and the iPad.The both 11-inch and the 13 inch are also same but in my opinion if you want a long lasting Laptop for 986 minutes you could buy the Apple MacBook Air (13-inch, 2014) .
